A Submitted release Simsbury's Deputy First Selectman John K. Hampton was nominated last evening by the Democratic Party for State Representative, representing the 16 th District in the state legislature.

The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection's Great Park Pursuit Kickoff at Goodwin State Forest will have the first in its series of events this year from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Goodwin State Forest in Hampton.
