The first stop is at 8:30 a.m. at Karber Farms, 1/2 mile south of Gypsum at the intersection of Tinkler and Gypsum Valley roads.

A Herington man was injured when he fell asleep while driving and his car left Kansas Highway 4 and struck a concrete culvert three miles east of Gypsum.

Eight people were cited or arrested in connection with a party near Gypsum Friday at which juveniles were drinking alcohol, Sheriff Glen Kochanowski said.

"The Way We Worked in Blue Rapids," a photo exhibit sponsored by the Kansas Humanities Council in partnership with the Smithsonian Institution's Museum on Main Street program, will open at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Blue Rapids Museum in Blue Rapids, according to a news release.
