Several people have left numerous comments on WLOX about this story it is very eveident they are unaware of residential care laws. One is that a residental care home can have no more then three residents, secondly they must care for ambulatory residents, thirdly they are not authorized to pass medication. One comment says he was waiting for his license. Well apparently he had applied for licenses numerous times and had failed the saftey regulations to be licensed. It is very important that people follow the laws reguarding the elderly, they are set up for the protection of the elderly. If he was such a good, caring, law abiding citizen why would he not follow the laws that have been set up? What type of training did he give his staff? There are alot of answered questions as of yet

I am a medical assistant and applied there myself. I found their facility to be disgusting. Not one staff member had any medical background. The part that really irks me is "untrained staff members". They only hired people off the street. This problem is prolific in all of our nursing homes countrywide mainly due to the fact that hirees aren't qualified, but get the job anyway. Minister Medication violations from uninformed, insensitive and ignorant staff members (residents) can be deadly. I was told though if I went and got my C N A license that I could get pay more. What a joke. First off why would I do that when I already am more qualified than a C N A. With their untrained staff and low wages and no benefits for the employees, do you really think that the staff cared about the job? I don't believe so. They are just collecting paychecks. It takes a lot of love, compassion and diligence to work in a nursing home. Not everyone can do it. The best way to make sure your loved ones are taken care of is to go unexpectedly - go different times of the day -don’t get into a set routine all the time. The state board of health has a website @ TN.GOV . U can look at a lot of things - for instance: license verification on drs.- nurses - nurse aides - how the state boards of health rates the area nursing homes. Well apparently he had applied for licenses numerous times and had failed the safety regulations to be licensed; it appears that this nursing homes getting by with much more. Then just that. People you better wake up stand up and be counted because our elderly population is not being cared for in these nursing homes at A Connected Heart" on Vick Road.

I can tell you first hand the A Connected Heart" on Vick Road that Mr. Sullivan's is a slick man and he though he can get away with no licenses. It's wrong!! I wonder how long and what else he has got away with. Only God knows!! I hope that Attorney General's investigate very Good. I know that there are some employees in A Connected Heart" on Vick Road. Minister Medication and insensitive and ignorant staff and especially when think they are R N. and they don’t have any medical background. The place is full of drama; all the employees are more interested in pleasing Mr. Sullivan. Then taking care of the patients’.All the staff knows how to put a good impression. YOU and your employees have got away with a lot. Mr. Sullivan it was about time that the true nature of your business is out. I think is time for you to face the law. For you and your employees are doing wrong. Would the Community want their parents being cared for at A Connected Heart by someone who is known to be in violation of the law? I THINK NOT!!

WHEN IS SOMEONE GOING TO INVESTIGATE THE PERSONAL CARE HOME HE IS OPERATING ON 21ST STREET IN GULFPORT??? THIS MAN AND HIS GROUP ARE SMART AND GREEDY. IT IS ABOUT TIME SOMEONE FOUND OUT. WHAT ABOUT ALL THE EMPLOYEES HE PAID UNDER THE TABLE, AND FIRED FOR NOT KISSING HIS OR BETH'S BUTT? HE SHOULD FACE LABOR CHARGES ALSO. IT IS BAD ENOUGH HE DOESN'T TRAIN HIS EMPLOYEES, HE ALSO DOESN'T DO BACKGROUND CHECKS. HE HIRES YOU IF HE THINKS YOU ARE NAIVE AND WILL GO ALONG WITH WHATEVER HE SAYS. WHAT GOES ON IN THE DARK, ALWAYS COMES TO THE Light.

Greg sullivan is very slick. He seems nice in the beginning, and tells all of his employees that he hire about things he shouldn't say.He flirts with all the females, whenever he don't want to get his way he fire people. He makes racist comments to all the black people in his care home. His business is going down the drain, so he don't have enough money to pay his employees.
