Judy Davies of Gautier has been selected as the Mississippi Poetry Society, South Branch Poet of the Year and was presented a plaque by Patricia Butkovich, also of Gautier at the statewide Mississippi Poetry Society meeting at Gulf Hills in Ocean Springs.

It may very well be one of the largest government agencies on the coast many have never heard of.

Mississippi Poetry Society Spring Festival will be April 13-14 at the Gulf Hills Hotel & Conference Center in Ocean Springs.

The American Heart Association will dedicate the Singing River Health System's new walking path along Beach Boulevard and Oliver Street in Pascagoula in celebration of National Walking Day.
