It takes time

I wonder why it takes so long to start a project, let alone finish it? To have it start 2 yrs from now, I wonder what the cost increase will be which it seems is never factored into the actual cost. And I went to the Casino recently and liked the new detour -- avoiding the downtown Esparto area completely. Seems like a better way to go and not affect the residents. Esparto has always been a quiet, nice town but with the added casino traffic, that has certainly changed. Well, the quiet has changed anyway!

I would like to see the speed limit lowered at night when deer jump out along the way between Esparto and Brooks. Daytime speed is fine, it is the nightime when these drivers come from far away and are unaware that deer jump out. They tailgate you and make you feel that you have to go faster. Once a deer hits you one changes. I was lucky to only loose my radiator and a light. Other people have been killed.

California is so broke that fire stations are being shut down, police are being laid-off, prisoners will be set free, schools will close, etc, etc. But they'll spend $58 million, tear down homes, and take farm land so a casino can make more money and a small group of people get even richer... In a state where gambling is illegal.
