Frank C. Waldvogel, age 86 of Burtrum, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the St Cloud Hospital in St.

One person was treated at St. Cloud Hospital Saturday after a two-vehicle accident on Stearns County Road 75 east of County Road 2. A 1996 Chevrolet Lumina driven by Terry Spinks, 33, of Big Lake, went into the median and stuck several sign posts.

Theodore J. "Ted" Luetmer, age 42 of Alaska and formerly of Meire Grove, died unexpectedly on Monday, April 23, 2012, in Seattle, Wash.

Both are members of a committee who organized the memorial. They want to make sure veterans from the Grey Eagle area were, or will be, represented on their Veterans Memorial, in a visible location.
