Hardin named new Ward 2 alderwoman
On Tuesday, the Greenwood Board of Aldermen approved mayoral appointee Sarah Hardin to fill the vacant Ward 2 position on the Board.
Gentry J. Viers, 30 was arrested on 10-14-2011 in Norfolk, Virginia on two counts of statutory sodomy of a 4 year old boy in Greenwood, Missouri.
Greenwood works to complete lengthy list of improvements
In March 2011, the mayor of Greenwood outlined 93 sidewalk replacement, curb replacement, street repair and street overlay projects he hoped to complete.As of last month, he said 69 of those items were completed, and the public works department was slated to continue pushing forward to complete more on the list.
