No one has to tell you that there are a few instances in aviation when the pucker factor is at an all-time high... and a structural failure is pretty close to the top of the list.

An unidentified pilot told the Canyon County Sheriff's Office that he was practicing aerobatic maneuvers in a Steen Skybolt Monday afternoon about 1300 local time when the aircraft suffered a structural failure.

Canyon County officials say a pilot was able to parachute to safety as his stunt plane crashed into a field west of Boise.

A pilot barely escaped with his life this afternoon after ejecting from a stunt plane moments before it crashed into a field in Greenleaf.
