Six-car crash near Harrisville leaves three injured

Yeah I was one of the three injured in the accident. I want to know more about what happened but every site I go to tells me the same stuff. I want to know the person who hit us from behind and started the whole chain of events. I heard she was on her cell phone. I need to know who to sue.

hi ther you should be able to contact the alcona county sheriffs department and get the police report. it should have all of the names and tell them your reason on why you need it or have your lawer contact them. i hope your doing of i was one of the fire fighter on scene.

I was 100 feet away from this accident and witnessed the tail end of it, but I heard the whole thing. The people in the southbound black Cherokee were turning left and the woman in the red Wrangler rammed them from behind. We heard tire screeches a split second before the collision and from the skid marks, you could tell that she wasn't paying any attention, noticed at the last second that she was about to hit the Cherokee, hit the brakes about 30 feet out, and tried to swerve right but didn't make it. The northbound red minivan then T-boned the Cherokee because although the driver saw what was happening, he couldn't stop in time and the Cherokee had been knocked squarely across the northbound lane.

The other cars that were involved got bumped into each other end to end when the Cherokee bounced off the red minivan and into the driveway. They had minor damage.

I hope everyone is ok, and that the driver of the red Wrangler is forced to pay for the damages caused by her irresponsible driving. Not sure if she was on the phone but she wasn't paying attention, and the witness accounts combined with the skid mark trail prove it. We were never asked by the police about what we had seen or heard, so I wouldn't be surprised if they lacked sufficient evidence to charge the red Wrangler driver.
