A Green Springs man was sentenced this week in Sandusky County Pleas Court to five years of probation and ordered to pay restitution after pleading guilty to charges of breaking and entering and theft.

William "Whitey" H. Gent, 80, of Green Springs, passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012, at Elmwood Healthcare Center at the Springs in Green Springs.
