A tractor-trailer crash that closed a stretch of Interstate 81 south briefly caused extensive backups and one lane has since reopened.

Samuel Resseguie, 20, of Hallstead, and Katrina Donahue, 18, of Great Bend, allegedly threw rocks at a Lincoln Town Car parked in Great Bend, resulting in $3,116 in damage, police said.

Javier Cortes DeJorge, 24, Susquehanna, was the driver of a Volkswagen Beetle that went off Route 171 in Great Bend and rolled over before hitting a tree and a house, according to state police at Gibson.

A man is dead following a crash in Susquehanna County. It happened on State Route 171 in Great Bend just before 10 p.m. Friday.
