Ill. child welfare reveals history of complaints before boy's death

Just goes to show you that DCFS does NOT get it right everytime. I'd say more often than not they get it wrong. Overworked, right? More like its just a government job with a paycheck. I know someone right now whose daughter has been molested by her own father and DCFS has shown it unfounded on three separate incidents even though the child told them what he did, drew pictures of what happened and showed them using the dolls they use. They think that the girl's mother is coaching her. She wasn't in the room when the then 3, 5, and 6 year old (that was the ages at the time of the incidents) told the DCFS "professionals" what happened. Of course, now it will have to happen again and then the girl will have to report it to someone besides her own mother to get anyone to do anything about it. The cops and the SA have even made those type of comments. I guess they hope she will be violated again by her own father, who gained custody in court because DCFS claimed that the reports were unfounded. "OK little 'Susie',the next time your daddy puts his hand in your panties while you are asleep and you wake up to him rubbing your privates, be sure to tell a policemen or your teacher about it. Don't tell your mommy because we think she is making all of this up and telling you what to say." She is getting older and will remember a lot easier if he dares to do it again. She will be scarred for life. She already acts out more than she used to. I hope it doesn't happen again, but he shouldn't be allowed to get by with it either. What a sicko!

i think they shouldent of took my other 2 kids they keep putting in the paper that dcfs thought my child was abused but every time they cam in on me they foundent my case on founded
