United Way reaches 80 percent of 2009 fund-raising goal

At the second organizational meeting Tuesday, GAUW had collected $89,224.25 of the total goal of $112,009. The commercial and industrial accounts have raised 69 percent of a goal of $55,309 with Sherry Reddell, pacesetters committee, and Eleanor Siskar, employee committee, leading the charge with 84 and 76 percent collected respectively.
