The Gore Springs School reunion is tomorrow. To be sure, I will be full when I leave there.
Honeysuckle now safe at my house
When I was a boy, I fought an almost continuous battle with honeysuckle along a ditch bank on our property at Gore Springs.
This happened when I was six years old, before we moved to Gore Springs and while Daddy still managed Professor Willie Johnson's big farm with land both North and South of U.S. Highway 82, east of Kilmichael.
Ol' Man Winter making his last stand
Last week I wrote about daffodils and was pleased to receive a number of responses from readers advising that the Moore daffodils on Highway 8 out toward Gore Springs are in full bloom and otherwise giving me reports on the general enjoyment of daffodils.
