Alarmed by the suicides of two teens in the last two months over constant abuse at school, state Sen.

SMITH COUNTY, Tenn. Interstate 40 westbound in Smith County has been partially blocked by a crash involving a semi-truck. TDOT reported the crash happened around 10:30 a.m. Thursday at mile marker 258 near Gordonsville.

Another gay Tennessee teen took his own life last week. Phillip Parker, a 14-year-old gay kid from Gordonsville in Middle Tennessee, killed himself after enduring years of bullying and harassment by his peers.

A gay teen in Tennessee killed himself on Friday after leaving a note in a trash can that read "please help me mom," WSMV-TV in Nashville reports.
