NWS: Area storm could produce hail
The National Weather Service in Topeka at 5:11 p.m. issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Brown, northwestern Jackson and southeastern Nemaha counties until 6 p.m. Weather service Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing half-dollar sized hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.
Wreck claims life of Goff woman
An accident just after 6:30 Monday morning has claimed the life of 77-year old Sueko McDaniel of Goff, Kansas.
