'He make good Indian,' proclaim Indians of 'Old Henry'
Another colorful character who settled in Chippewa Township was Henry Franks. Also a veteran of the War of 1812, his exploits among the Indians were widely storied across the Ohio frontier.
A hard-working, generous man who never was shy to offer his opinion, Joe was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle.
