LOL she is digging her own grave. Lies on top of lies. So she ordered the computers "removed" but not "seized." Depends on what your definition of "is" is, etc...

Like a small child, TA still refuses to accept responsibility for her actions. It is sad that a grown woman could be so clueless.

Watch the Jan 2-3 meeting...Whitley and Stuck were told that if they went on County property before 8:ooam,they would be arrested. Who does TA think she is kidding?

She is the queen of denial and apparently thinks we...her constituents...are so dumb we will forget what really happened.

It's interesting to see the other side of the story. People will draw their own conclusions, don't you think? I hope you all are enjoying the summer. It's been a busy time up in my neck of the woods. So I've just been watching what you're all up to on the forums from time to time. Not much has changed, I see. Well, hope y'all have a clean campaign, and a fair election in November. Would have accomplished just as much if you'd had enough patience to wait for the election.

Well, WH, once again you are mistaken. The petitioners accomplished a great deal more than a local election change. They managed to change a law that will keep another judge from doing what Parker has tried to do. And, the petition process will be changing as well. So, all in all, the petitioners actions accomplished quite a bit. Furthermore, if TA and company had not be exposed as they were, more than likely they would be re-elected, with the exception of Woodard.

Also, WH, read the Article about TA losing political support. It should interest you that the article mentioned how TA was elected, because a long time supervisor incurred the rath of the people, a petition drive was launched and while it proved unsuccesful, it raised the awareness of the citizens and resulted in the incumbent losing the election to a political novice, who happeneed to be TA. Now, 16 years later, the roles are reversed and TA is the incumbent who has incurred the rath of the citizens and just as she was brought into office, she'll be tossed out.

Those who fail to learn from history are destine to repeat it. TA thought she was untouchable, just as the supervisor she beat in the election in 1993. And because TA became arrogant and thought she could do what SHE wanted instead what the people elected her to do.

Teresa Altemus should have a statue adorned with flowers and blessed by children. She is grace and endless beauty.

Would someone please explain to me what the deal is with the green highlights and the double underline thing? Makes no sense to me.

Not to mention all the hurt feelings, and anger this has caused. And it also caused a pretty hefty fine...ooops!!! I beg your pardon, a sanction.

She may not be rich, but she has received money from her employers via a lawsuit. A lawsuit based on her desire to be paid by one county office while working for another. Nice double dip....if you can get it.

The petitioners are idiots who dropped the big ball. If they really wanted to accomplish something, then howcome we still ain't got a state petition process?

If you're so interested in a state petition process, then why don't you take up the mantle and push this forward. I think the petitioners have a lot on their plate at this time and I admire their efforts to right a big wrong in our local government.

You wouldn't be a tad biased, would you? You could have answered the question instead of getting all huffy, and dumping the thing back in that poster's lap. So I'll ask it too, since you seem to have all the answers. Why isn't there a petition process in place?

When I corresponded with Tommy Norment on the petition issue, I suggested that the Legislature publish a sample petition so the citizens would know what is expected when they file a petitioned grievance. I guess that was to tough to handle.

I will be interested to see how Hampton residents make out with their petition over Buckroe, if it ever gets that far. At least they should be free of financial threats from the judiciary.
