Less than two weeks after Fred Wertz and his wife moved from Fredon to the Glenwood section of Vernon, their power went out, and it stayed out for nearly nine days.

The Millburn Police Department, along with surrounding municipalities have been experiencing a rash of motor vehicle burglaries and several vehicle thefts.
