4-wheeler stolen, two arrested
Authorities made quick work of a larceny near Glendale Springs. On Oct. 11, a resident reported the theft of a 2001 Polaris 500 four-wheeler, with an estimated value of over $4,000. After reports of a vehicle seen in the area, deputies questioned and released a suspect.
Glendale Springs art school is moving to Ashe County
The Florence Thomas Art School, which holds classes at a 10.3-acre campus near the Blue Ridge Parkway, will move to a new location in Ashe County and is offering its Glendale Springs campus for sale, trustees said today.
