Residents of the Gibsonburg Exempted Village School District will decide a request for a 1 percent, 10-year income tax on the May 7 primary election ballot.

Gibsonburg School District hasn't asked voters for a levy since 1994, but declining state revenue has forced the Sandusky County district's hand and it will be looking for a favorable outcome at the ballot box May 7. The district has proposed a 10-year, 1 percent income tax on the ballot.
