Following a lengthy search by local fire department volunteers, the body of Georgina E. Vacio, 49, was found in a ditch along a frontage road not far from the church she had walked away from.

Nathan A. Easton, 28 of Geff was taken into custody shortly before 5 a.m. Saturday at his home at 122 Lafayette St.
