The Merwinsville Hotel Restoration committee will have a spring cleanup at the historic hotel and museum on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and welcomes volunteers to come help wash windows, vacuum, dust, paint and do some gardening.

Firefighters from the Gaylordsville Volunteer Fire Department quickly put out a Tuesday morning blaze at 58 Front of The Mountain Road.
