Local athletes claim podium finishes at State Track meet

A clear blue sky. Pleasant temperatures. It was a perfect day for a state track and field meet, one that many of the elite athletes assembled at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium welcomed after a spring of all kinds of other weather .
