Officers with the Lexington County Multi-Agency Narcotics Enforcement Team in cooperation with the Lexington County Sheriff's Department Special Weapons and Tactics Team executed a search warrant on Friday, June 14 at a home on Deer Crossing near Gaston.

A group of five people at a home in Gaston were trying to destroy several items that were used to manufacture methamphetamine, according to Lexington County Sheriff James Metts.

Charles Leroy Brown, 44, was walking across the intersection at Two Notch Road & Pinebelt Road around 10:30 p.m. Saturday when he was hit by a car.
