The presents are unwrapped, your guests have left and now it is time to take down your Christmas tree, and the city of Lincoln wants it.

The Archdiocese of Omaha will honor nine Catholic educators Sept. 15 at the 34th annual Archbishop's Dinner for Education.

The Kooser Collection has found its home at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Officials with the UNL Libraries announced Monday the acquisition of the personal papers of Ted Kooser, a former insurance executive and UNL professor who served as U.S. poet laureate from 2004 to 2006.
