Jefferson County sheriff's deputies searching for a man wanted in last week's thefts of ATVs in Gardendale instead found a methamphetamine lab inside a northern Jefferson County home.

Law enforcement agencies have scaled back their search for a man who led police on a vehicle chase from Gardendale to the Kimberly/Trafford area this morning.
