Judy Roger, 68, of Gladstone, took advantage of the sunny weather on Sunday, April 8, 2012 by working in her lots at the Gladstone Community Gardens at Meldrum Bar Park along the Willamette River.

A community garden is an option for those looking to grow their own vegetables but might lack the space, supplies and/or the knowledge.

Temperatures are forecast to hover around freezing overnight, for the next several nights, which could threaten all those early blooming spring flowers.
