Gallipolis City Commissioners voted 3-2 to pass the second reading of a resolution authorizing City Manager Randy Finney to advertise for bids for the construction of the new municipal building during their meeting Tuesday evening, making it official that the building will be put to bid.

A bill of information was filed in Gallia County Common Pleas Court Tuesday charging Robert H. Erwin with two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
