Videotapes link Hollywood man to more sex abuse
“The stuff we're finding right now is extremely distressing. He's been transient in South Florida for 10 years. He's probably left behind a lot of victims. We don't know what we're going to find.”
Police said Sunday they think a man arrested on charges of sexually abusing one child is responsible for molesting another, and that hundreds of graphic videotapes found in his apartment may yield many more victims.
Matthew Kent Sheley, 36, of Hollywood , was in the Broward County North Jail on 11 counts of possessing photographs of sexual performance by a child, jail records show. Bail was set at $110,000. Other abduction and child pornography-related charges are pending, according to Andrew Casper, Hallandale Beach police spokesman. Read more
