Police are investigating a bank robbery that took place early Friday afternoon at the First Credit Union of Gainesville, 412 E. University Ave.

Early Thursday morning Gainesville police shot and tasered a man. Police were called to a house on the 2000 block of NW 31st Place in reference to a reports of an unstable man.
