SAN LUIS, Ariz. - A group of students have graduated this month from the Gadsden Elementary School District in order to come back as teachers in the classroom next fall.

Marco Antonio Reyes is seeking re-election as the Yuma County supervisor for the south and west parts of the county.

Seuss characters will make a rare appearance in south county. A local ballet company will present a free performance and dance workshops May 19 in San Luis, Ariz., in an attempt to bring dance exposure to south county.

Not that providing quality education isn't always a priority, but the 2011-12 year has shaped up as special for the Gadsden Elementary School District.
