The story of the sewer

Much noise has been made-some publicly, some privately-about the Rainsville sewer system allegedly being "sold" to other interests; namely the Section and Dutton Water Boards.

Mayor Lingerfelt is a forward thinker! He understands problems quickly and is aggressive with following through to resolve them. He won't quit until he gets the message out!

Very few Mayor's or elected officials would have taken the time to understand the pros and cons of the sewer system being handled a different way than it has in the past. But Mayor Lingerfelt did. If he says it will help the customer and everyone involved, then you can bet your last dollar it would. He has proven to be a heck of a manager for our town. Whether everyone likes him or not, no one works harder than he does to help Fyffe and surrounding community.

Mayor Lingerfelt is a smart fellow when it comes to managing things. His opinion should not be taken lightly. He has taken the bull-by-the-horns in Fyffe and rode every bronc in sight and has come out a winner. Results speak for themselves.

Lingerfelt has proven a lot of the naysayers wrong! He has come in and made a lot of changes that has helped Fyffe. A large majority of those against him four years ago would now vote for him if they could get the chance. A lot are not happy with the one candidate that has qualitfied. They do not trust her motives.

Sounds like Lingerfelt and Fyffe is on to something! Why hasn't someone else already thought of this?

Right now lot of people in fyffe would like to have lingerfelt in charge for another four years. Woodall don't look so good anymore. From talk we heer she anin't going to make the grade. The only thing better for fyffe would be she drop out now before she tries some of the things she has in mind. Talk is she is in this for herself and other reasons that ant good for town.

Character is big, and she is sure lacking in that department. The talk is already starting about that.

Woodall ant got an idea about the sewer or anything else. She is in for herself and that is the thang people from Fyffe had better get used to.

She better hope everyone don't find out about her past. She has one that would sure make the tabloids look pale. All her pretention and makeup won't ever get it past her either.

Unlike most people in public service Mayor Lingerfelt is not afraid to make a decision and stick with it. He gets things done wisely, quickly, and effeciently. The sewer situation is just an example. He will stick with his position to the end and prove it successful. That's what separates him from other mayors around here.

Seriously what are you talking about... her makeup and her past... can you not think of other things that would keep someone from being a good leader... instead you resort to high school mean girl tactics... probably because you can't win on the merits... it is sad to see girl on girl hate. I mean seriously women are women's own worst enemy... Get a clue.

Someone_elses_opinion dosen't know what a lot of other Fyffe people know. If you did you might have a sure enough different opinion. Few women leaders we know left their family for another wo......... Got a clue? This all fits under sewer really nicely. And yes we women are each others natural enemy. This is just a little wrath that this new so called leader will experience rather quickly. Sorry she dosen't have the character needed for the position.

Well neither do you apparently so who are you to judge exactly... let those without sin cast the first stone... does that sound familiar... since you want to preach about character. BTW speak for yourself because you are not the voice for most... okay... when you become a leader which I doubt ever happens then speak on other's behalfs until then... maybe hush.

Judging is easy when someone like Woodall has been around doing the thangs she has done for so long. And you bet all the women are gong to talk. Woodall made the decsion to run for office, and when she did then everything she has done in her past will be broadcast. She should have known. she is about to start a whol new career in education.

Lingerfelt could be a strong candidate for any office in our area. He has a lot of respect, especially in DeKalb and Jackson counties from among those that know him. His success as Mayor shows his ability to think out side the box and get things done in a short period of time. Besides that he is consistant. From what I see of him you never have a problem knowing where you stand. Most people respect that.

Lingerfelt is a good mayor but is it he alone who has made the great decisions and cast all the votes?? I think you will find that around 4/5 of the council also had a hand in turning things around in Fyffe..... Carefully leaving out the man who voted against paying all the towns bills for two years ;) pssst! billy carroll...

Carroll needs out! The rest of the council are good ones that the town needs back.
