That would be a hard call to make. If you let the dog tear him up then you are in a big lawsuit.

I am glad the meth lab is cleaned up, but where is our society today that will kill a dog doing its job to save a dangerous criminal.

Isreal Uzi and a Russian AK47. Albuquerque SWAT Team.

Isreal UZI and a Russian AK47. Remember when Ronald Reagan was shot, all those secret service agents pulled out their UZI'S. In the movie Pulp Fiction a UZI is used by Bruce Willis to shoot John Travolta.

I'd have to agree with the majority...the dog was doing what it was supposed to do. Couldn't they be facing a law suit anyway for killing someone's dog in their OWN yard for doing what it was meant to do? PROTECT it's family. Pepper spray or the laser would have been more fit in my opinion. Not to mention it was the suspects own fault for jumping the fence so they should've let the dog have a whack at him for a bit...not cool. But it IS cool that these drugs are off the street :) Good job guys

Shooting someone’s dog on their own property is OUTRAGEOUS!!!! What is it with the FPD and their trigger-happy ways? Where are they getting their training, is there any? I hope the dog owner gets extremely well compensated for their loss.

Great job, sounds like these guys are finally doing what we are paying them for. Get all these gangbanger, drug pushing dumb asses off of our streets, city and county, lock them up and throw away the key.

I am sorry to hear about your dog. It is kind of a hero! If you were lied to you should let the police chief and the press know. Let them know who lied to you and when about what. We need to keep the police accountable.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Virgo

It's okay to have high expectations, but try to keep in mind that no one can be all things to all people. As the Moon spends one last day in its current sign, it urges you to find a way to recognize others for their strengths, and forgive them their weaknesses. Virgoans' idiosyncrasies must look like strange quirks from the outside as well! Fate ties up the loose ends towards the end of the day.
