Medtronic-made defibrillator stops bullet, saves life

n 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... The A-Team.

A great example of off label use. Wonder what the FDA will have to say about that?

Good thing he didn't go into VF because of the trauma. That would have been unfortunate.

I was thinking more along the lines of an exothermic reaction with the blood and battery components. That would hurt.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Cancer

You may not be privy to every little thing that's going on around you, but so what? Crabs can't always be in control, but you don't need to feel insecure, either. Thanks to your electronic devices, you appear to be a little godlike to those who don't have the same access as you do at the moment. Just make sure that you memorise the important stuff in case the system goes down.
