Catholic sisters' history in U.S. on exhibit
In the nearly three centuries since, about 220,000 Catholic sisters have served in this country as teachers, nurses, entrepreneurs, social workers, scientists and servants of God.
They will receive awards of $250 each from the Kentucky Jump$tart Coalition and its partners, the Kentucky Society of CPAs and Class Act Federal Credit Union.
Suspects In Church A/C Thefts Arrested
Menifee County Sheriff's deputies nabbed a pair of suspected thieves Wednesday. Deputies say Theresa Moore, 38, of Frenchburg, and Nicholas Caudill, 21, of Jeffersonville, stole air conditioning units, audio cables and a limited edition guitar from Bethel Baptist Church.
