Before anyone decides to criticize this man or his family anymore, please listen to this guy talk about his brother--ref. Ft. Hood Shootings--

http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/11/06/fort.hood...

...and the nerve of anyone to post their "take" on a parent's grief and how they should handle it...WOW.

I think the only person being criticized here is the reporter!

this is absolutely outrageous. i cannot believe the paper would make such a big mistake. they are supposed to be professionals and they couldnt even do a little bit of background research on the person they wrote this gripping, heart felt story about and he turned out it wasnt as sad as they told it to be. its ridicoulous

don't be that shocked over this all media outlets put spin on every single news article you read. you should be wary of anything you read watch and listen to.

If he had not commited the crimes he would not have ended up in jail and would not have tried to commit suicide which lead him to be put on a ventilator. So it really does not matter if he died because of pneumonia from the vent.
I feel for the family but this is just messed up. This article should not have been done.
What happened to innocent until proven guilty? Committing suicide is not an admission of guilt. There is more to this story, and I hope the police and reporters will pursue the investigation. I have heard that Casey's cell phone and wallet were missing. Perhaps the shot in the air was an attempt to scare someone into returning them, and whatever else they took. Perhaps the "car jacking" was an attempt to stop the thieves. Perhaps the suicide was a reaction to realizing that his dream career of law enforcement was now impossible with felony charges on his record (even if he were found innocent, you have to report all charges). Yes it appears that he was reckless and his acts leading to arrest seem foolish, probably partly due to alcohol and partly due to adjustment to civilian live after living in a war zone, and partly due to his young age. Have you never known anyone to be put in jail unjustly? How can you be imposing a verdict of guilty based on so little information? My condolences to his family and friends.

Daily Horoscope for December 16

Scorpio

If you're concerned about finding the cash for what usually turns out be an expensive month, the New Moon is the time to start on a budget or some other financial strategy. Try talking to an expert during the coming fortnight, or simply decide to cut down on your expenses. Don't spend so much on presents this year.
