BURGLARY: Pennsylvania State Police, Chambersburg, are investigating a burglary of a Bino Road apartment last month in which jewelry was taken.

Police said someone stole three white gold necklaces containing diamonds from a bathroom sink at the apartment.

(Incident H03-1856433)

I always thought the kitchen sink was the proper place to store one's diamonds.

Why don't people lock their vehicles to prevent most of the thefts?

Why is it that a skateboarder gets a citation for riding on the road when you can ride a bike or a scooter on the road. I can see if he was in the middle but if he was on the side and just riding it doesnt make sense to me.

the problem is the skateboarders don't stay on the side of the road...out here in Fayetteville we are constantly dodging 2 of them that are all over the road...pain in the necks

i hope it was the skateboarder that almost got killed in front of my house last week for going in front of the cars, there is a huge patk in faytteville that they can go and hang out n play all they want. i hope they have learned a lesson!!!

First off, Chambersburg should build a skatepark for the kids in this area so that they have a place to skate without endangering the public. Give them something positive to look forward to instead of being bored and getting involved in illegal activities.
Second, I feel the old prison should not be torn down but used as a facility to deter any child under 18 years of age. If a child in school gets suspended for 3 days, he spends 3 days in the prison etc..If a child is caught stealing from a store, the judge would impose the time to be spent in the prison. Let our children know what prison feels like without it going on their record. We need to let our children know that there on consequences for their actions. Most kids that get suspended from school are okay with it because it's like getting a vacation. The parents should be made to pay a portion of the fee that it would cost to do this.

Aren't there already TWO skate parks in C-burg???

Skateboarding is fun and great exercise. get up off the couch you prick. Yes their are two parks in chambersburg one at municipal park and one at cluggys both cost money and both are no where near where a kid living downtown with no car are gonna go

They are tearing down the jail because it is sitting on top of a huge sinkhole and is slowly collapsing

wow walk to a skate park hmm nope I think ill skate there. Redneck hicks like you need to move to Alabama I have a job and pay taxes so if I want to ride my skateboard on the street I am going too.
