Bullitt population, poverty increase since 2000
As Bullitt County's population rose over the last decade so has its poverty. The U.S. Census Bureau's latest American Community Survey released Tuesday shows that Bullitt's average population for 2005 through 2009 was 73,528, an increase of almost 12,300 people since the 2000 Census.
