LOTS OF ACTIVITIES PLANNED FOR FOWLERVILLE 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION

Fowlerville Community, its time to make plans now to celebrate the 4th of July. The Fowlerville 4th of July committee, Fowlerville Business Association and Fowlerville Rotary have a full day of food, music, sales, baked goods, arts, crafts, silent auction, the annual parade, and fireworks planned to entertain the young, the old, and young at heart the whole day long!

The day will start with a “Home Run Derby” for ages 7 – 14 at the Community Park. Registration is require and there is a $10 fee. Registration will take place from 8 – 9 am. You may also pre-register at www.Fowlerville.org .

From 10 am – 2 pm there will be Arts and Crafts _ at the DDA new parking lot on Grand River and a Relay for Life Bake Sale at the Community Park.

Starting at noon at the DDA new parking lot will be the “Taste of Fowlerville” with many delicious foods to choose from. A Silent Auction will be held there from noon until 7 pm, with Sport’s Memorabilia and more. From 1 until 10:30 pm DJ x-2-o will be spinning music at the main four corners. Special Requests are encouraged! A great place to view the Fireworks.

A “Hot Dog” eating contest will begin at 2 pm, followed at 3 pm by a Watermelon Seed Spitting contest, all at the DDA new downtown parking lot on Grand River. From 2 until 7 pm a Car Show and Children’s Activities are planned at the First Baptist Church of Fowlerville on South Grand. The Live Band “Release” will be playing at the Community Park from 4:30 – 6:30 pm.

At 7 pm the annual parade will step off thru downtown Fowlerville. Following the parade at the Community Park near the “Old Tennis Courts” will be a “Bovine Bomb Raffle”– this is one event you’ll want to get in on. Buy a square then watch the “cow”– make its mark. You could be the winner. From 8 until 10 pm the Live Band,“Shattered Image” will entertain at the Community Park and at 10 pm the Fireworks Show will begin.
