A tornado estimated to be F4 intensity moved across 20 miles of Scott and Morgan Counties in central Illinois.A The tornado touched down near Alsey and moved northeast, passing 8 miles south of Jacksonville.

The Buffalo County Sheriff's Department says it happened on Tuesday around 4 p.m. on State Highway 35 near the intersection of Indian Creek Road, in the Town of Milton, just north of Fountain City.
