A new store opened on Laramie St. in Ft. Laramie, called, THE BUCKSKIN BRIGADE RELICS POST. Owner bought 8 lots on west side of street, intends to build a replica of Fort William there, as a museum, as well as restore the early blacksmith shop on this property, also for museum. Presently, caretaker resides in the store building, selling antique guns, swords, cannon, and other relics of the fur trade period for the owner, pending arrival next spring of a full time, permanent business manager. Opening day was June 18, 2009, during the l75th Anniversary celebration of Ft. Laramie. It's at #114 Laramie St.
