Firefighters battle fire in Modoc National Forest
FORT BIDWELL, Calif. -- Close to 400 firefighters are battling a wildfire in a rugged and remote area of the Modoc National Forest Officials say after breaking out about 11 a.m. Thursday, the blaze has consumed about 2,600 acres, or a little more than four square miles.
