COUNCILMAN APPOINTED - Within minutes of Chris Moore being sworn in as Rhome's new mayor he had to make a tie-breaking vote in the appointment of a new city council person.

Survivors include wife, Sharon of Forestburg; three children, Angela Wilhite of Marietta, Okla., Cheryl Capuchina of Denton and Randy Landers of Sunset; six grandchildren; two sisters, Vickie Schell and Debbie Mullens, both of Bowie; and brother, La Dale Wilhite of Grand Prairie.
