What's Happening in Oroville

I would much rather have an article about how the local bar is helping cops clean up the street, then about how there was ANOTHER shooting at a downtown CHICO bar. At least our citizens aren't murderers.

I have been seeing for years all the trash oroville was kicking out have been coming here and it shows and chico just waited too long and now they have the burden to get rid of these low lifes.

How true, how true. I can once again see by the posts that there are indeed good people in Chico, as well as in Oroville. If one is not careful, their judgement of a town can be clouded by the rantings of a few bad seeds in that town. I would never pretend that Oroville doesn't still have it's share of issues, but it is improving with each passing year. For anyone to claim that their town is perfect, and that all of their problems come from outside their town, is just plain silly, and really not worty of discussion.

Whats up with Orovilles logo, "The fun starts here" thats sucha lie theres never anything to do in Oroville, so why'd they say that?

Sure like the senior citizen rapist? or the hispanics that capped the kid in the car and dumped his body on the side of the road. Or the guy who drown the girl in the pits near south fifth street. Or the other rapist who beat the teen girl and her teen boyfriend then raped her in the drain culvert. How about the death row inmate from oroville who made news on his conference call from prison. Or the loser who shot and killed his girlfriend and kids living in Oroville apratments. Dude who drove drove drunk and killed his buddy. Hobo who killed another hobo out by the train tracks. Many many more for a town of 15,000 losers. Chico has some murders, but there are 70,000 people living in Chico too.
