A 41-year-old Forest, Ohio, man was critically injured early Saturday when his station wagon went off the road and struck a tree about 18 miles southeast of here, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

A motorcyclist and his passenger were hurt when the driver swerved to avoid a deer on Township Road 148 about 12 miles south of Findlay, the Hancock County Sheriff's office said.
