Definitely!! I wish the event was publicized before hand. Maybe it was private. We would not have missed it.

I agree! I understand the Pineda is spot-on as the lead singer for Journey and folks would have come-out for a benefit for homeless children.

That's how he captured filipino here in America...He is a good singer, God gifted child, but from what I heard he doesn't treat his fans equally, he recognize a person if you are willing to give gifts. My opinion, more power to the charity events he has, there's plenty here in American people!! I will support U.S. because they are the one who had given me the opportunity and make a better life here.:)

This is a class act for Pineda, who has not forgotten where he came from. Zio Fraedos is a fantastic venue for events like this with its great ambiance. I happen to know the owners, a young couple, Tony and Sherry, who like Pineda has hearts of gold. Long live Arnel Pineda; Journey; Sherry and Tony; and Zio Fraedos.

Vallejo desperately needs a couple of business savvy Pinoys and Hispanics on the council. Not enough minority representation for a city with a highly diverse population and educational ranges.

All I can say, more power to Arnel Pineda's Fan. I'm not wasting anymore money to see his concert...same ole songs. I have heard all song he sings from SP. I want new music, every Journey concert music hasn't changed.
I also know who Arnel chatted in his website. People who buys expensive GIFTS***I have said hello to him numerous times, "yuck" No response, perhaps I should send expensive gift to the Philippines so he recognize me!! Oh geez, I don't think so**there's plenty of charity here in America, which I should give, after all this is the country where most people immigrated!! I say GO Bon Jovi!! this is the guy who doesn't want his name publicized with his charity. "HUMBLE" Guy!! Good Luck to "AP" rock on

There's a lot of homeless children here in America, Why not help our own country first? He might be a spot, but is he real? from what I have heard not the same in person, who only recognizes people with money!! Rock it Arnel!!

not true, several times he had mentioned that instead of giving him gifts, to give it to his foundation instead, that would make lots of kids happy.

Gemelle, I know a lot of people who knew him personally and have spent a lot of money. I knew a person who maxed out her credit card so she can send
gifts to the philippines, that's all I'm saying...

Rockbaby I don't know what has made you bitter but your words just are not true. Arnel has not asked for expensive gifts. I am not rich and have not given expensive gifts but he has acknowledged me many times in the SB. (Not by name but by statement) If you will remember, he has asked us all for not large sums of money but ONE DOLLAR each when we were offering much more. Also, yes there are children in this country that need help. If that is your choice, by all means, go ahead and do that. If you want to help the AP Foundation, do that. There is no need to air your negativity here. It seems that no matter what AP tries to do, someone wants to knock him down. As an American, it saddens me that our citizens can do this to such a good person. (I am assuming that you are an American since I doubt that a Filipino would ever make the statements that you did)

Susan, that's you're opinion. I am a member since Journey came out. At first I admire the guy. I followed him concert after concert, not just me but my family as well. There's certain things I probably knew that NO one does, I am not bitter, disappointment, YES.
NO, he did not ask expensive gifts, he would never ask any personal gifts from anybody, it's who he acknowledge in person!!
I am not asking YOU or anybody to stop supporting him or go see his concert. It's how I feel, my opinion, my observations.
I don't need to kiss anyone to be friends with...NO body is knocking him down, Susan, and oh by the way, it's not only Americans. I travel a lot so I hear things and see things. I wish you the bests of luck with the Organization and following him in any concerts.
Good Luck Rocking! I will support any charity and go see other rock star.

Great article for a great cause! So proud of him doing this at this early stage of his career. Wish all artist would follow this example to help others in need.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Aquarius

Money is a source of friction between you and friends now, so treat it with caution and respect. There could be a disagreement between you and a chum about a possession or a debt that one of you owes the other. If you're trying to organize a forthcoming social event, you could come unstuck when working out how much it's all going to cost because it might be far too expensive.
