Last night's winter weather has frozen travel across the state, including large portions of all three major interstate higways and several state roads and the flakes will fall throughout the morning, along with temperatures.

Wind-whipped snow reduced visibility on Interstate 25 around Raton, and in Capulin, heavy winds blew the snow across U.S. Highway 64 Taos Ski Valley also got some fresh snow.

The Track Fire is not only threatening homes in the Raton area it has now causing a new headache for thousands of others in northern New Mexico who are about to lose natural gas service.

Around 200 homes are being threatened by a 24,000-acre fire in the area of Raton Pass, west of Interstate 25.
