Boy, 3, dies in recreational fall near Florence

Florence County authorities said Friday a group of families were on an outing Thursday afternoon in Homestead Township near West Bass Lake Park.

Yep, seems parents don't watch children as they should.
.
A few weeks ago (November '09) a little 3 year old boy drowned in a motel indoor swimming pool in the Knoxville, Tennessee area. His parents had brought him up from Alabama to celebrate his 3rd birthday ........ dang, what a way to go!
.
So sad!
