FLORENCE, Wis.-Eagle River-Florence Ranger District is offering an opportunity to introduce young people to fishing and other fun outdoor activities during the district's second annual "Kids Fishing Day" on June 2. A The event runs from noon to 4 p.m. on the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest's Lost Lake Campground in Florence County.

On Friday, May 18, 35 students from Forest Park and Florence, Wis., schools took part in the Brule River Float, a four-mile kayak float down the Brule River.
